Childcare without a K5 course
We offer childcare with a special focus on language development in High German for children between 6 months and 5 years of age.
Any child may attend our childcare programme. Even if you are not currently enrolled in a K5 course or your course has finished, your child is welcome at our day care centre. Our childcare programme is especially suitable for those children who would benefit from a specific focus on German language development.
Childcare is subject to availability. Please contact us for more information.
Opening times: Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m.–12.00 p.m. and 2.00–5.00 p.m. (as needed)
Fees:
CHF 14.50 per hour (minimum of 2 hours required). For children under 18 months, we charge an additional CHF 6.00 per hour.

Why is K5's childcare programme right for your child?
> High German is spoken at K5's day care centre.
> We organise children into several mixed-age groups.
> Each group has its own caregiver.
> A group leader works alone with a maximum of five children, from six children upwards two or three caregivers and an assistant/intern work together, and three caregivers are always responsible for a group of ten children or more.
> We encourage children to interact with each other.
> We encourage free play and we sing, paint and make crafts with the children.
> We introduce specific themes to the children using rhythmic activities that involve singing, speaking and movement.
An invoice will be sent for day care fees if the service is booked without attending a course.
At the registration, the terms and conditions of the day care are agreed in writing.
